KUTHPADY, UDUPIOur Achievements:
- Camps: Camps are conducted at remote areas with scanty medical facilities along with local N.G.O.s and in door camps also are organized at periodic intervals on specific diseases.
- Health Awareness camps : Every month in association with Folklore Research Unit, a awareness camps “Swasthya Manthana”, is held and resource persons are emoted to speak on various aspects of prevention of disease and maintenance of health on Ayurvedic principles.
- Propagation of Ayurveda in Schools and Colleges and conducting blood donation camps etc. Our faculty members are invited to give talks on Ayurveda in schools and colleges.
- National Health Care Programmes: The Institution has been recognized as centre for promoting National Health Care like; (i) Polio immunization centre (ii) Family Planning Centre
- Swarnamruthaprashana : A unique programme Swarnamruthaprashana is conducting at hospital every month on Pushya Nakshatra to the childrens of aged between 01 to 16 years for developing immune system of the body.
- Research Activities :
- The Scientific and Technological Department, Government of India has recognised our institution as one of the centres for carrying our research in Ayurveda.
- Folklore Research Unit: This unit collects the information of many of the Folklore medicine practitioners after due identification the formularies are prepared and subjected to clinical trial. The results are documented and published. The manuscripts available with the practitioners are also verified and documented.
